This year marks our ninth annual Girl’s Night! Every year in February, we pamper our girls with a night full of entertainment, make overs, snacks, games, activities, outings, movies, and lots & lots of laughter. This year, Providence Presbyterian will host us for dinner. Then, we’ll adorn ourselves with 1920’s accessories and hop over to view “Thoroughly Modern Millie” at Carmel Middle School. Friend of The Family Tree, Olivia Sullivan, is in the performance.
After a night at the theater, we’ll head back to Providence Pres for games, crafts, snacks, a scavenger hunt, make overs, movies, and (hopefully) beauty sleep. In the morning, we’ll wake to the smells of a delicious breakfast and then gather our things to go home. The theme for Girls’ Night this year is strength. We will engage in activities that remind us of our inner strength.
Joining us for the festivities are 5 young ladies from St. Stephen’s United Methodist Church, drivers from Christ United Methodist Church, City Church, SouthPark Christian Church, and Providence Presbyterian.
Goody bags, dinner, dessert, and decorations are being provided to us by members of Providence Presbyterian. Activity leaders and chaperones include: Jemima Suwa, Tiffany Rendelman, Helms Jarrell, Melissa Lamm, and Martha Kearse. We are happy to be providing a night of fun and relaxation to 30 ladies of The Family Tree neighborhood.
Wish us luck…and a good night’s sleep!
